The hotel was located just off Portugal, the Douro river and all the wineries are. The breakfasts were good, always with a huge variety of meals. The room with a view. Reasonably good staff, who gave us awesome suggestions.

I had an incredible stay at a peaceful and beautiful place with a breathtaking landscape. The view from my room was amazing, and I could enjoy watching the sunset while sipping on Port Wine provided by the owner. The room was clean, spacious, and had a cozy atmosphere. Although the kitchen and dining room were off-limits, I could still sit down and eat outside in the large garden. The location was convenient, and Sergio, the owner, was a welcoming host who gave great recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend Casa Cardoso for a romantic and relaxing getaway.
